I kept saying to myself that I was NOT going to start my Christmas cards this early, but when I saw this too-stinkin-cute freebie from Bugaboo offered for playing along in the CDAC challenge, the bug bit, and I was whipping out my Christmas paper stash from last year quicker than you can say Misletoe.
OMG, is she not ever adorable?! I had so much fun coloring her with my Copics - and I picture her puffing up her skirt to say hello. So what do I do? Cut out the skirt 3 times, and mini glue dot the skirt to add dimension!! Add some Diamond stickles, and voila, Merry Christmas!

Very cute card. Love what you did with this image! Great color choices. Hugs~Bren
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Starla, Sara, this card is just too stinkin cute! And what a totally inspired idea to layer her dress that way. Of course the stickles is a must on any Christmas card, but I love how you just added a little bit here and there. Enough to accent but not overpower. The use of that pretty red ribbon finishes off this card with a real Christmasy feel. Fabby job girl!

Oh Sara, this is adorable. Your coloring and choice of colors is spot on! I have been trying to block out the thought of even purchasing Christmas images, but your creation is inspiring me to give it some thought. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteSara, love it, she's so darn cute!!! I usually have my cards done late August but this year, only a few are made. Enjoy your weekend.
