New Color Challenge at The Outlawz!
Happy Tuesday friends!! Time for another fun Color Challenge over at The Outlawz!!
This week, we have some fab colors just in time for Halloween! Jenn chose our color palette, and here is what she challenged us with:
Along with these spooktacular colors, our Octoberfest Oddball Twist is to use a recycled item on your project!
Since we just moved about 6 months ago, I've got tons of empty moving boxes - some of which are just in no condition to use again. So, I drew a star on one of the boxes, cut it out, painted it and distressed it to make the perfect recycled, matching embellie :)
Our Sponsor this month is Bugaboo Stamps - and you know how cute their images are right?
Well one lucky winner will win 7 free images from Bugaboo!! Thats one witchin' prize ;) But ya can't win 'em, if you don't play along!!!
Hope you can join us in our Color Challenge at The Outlawz!!

We Need A Little Christmas!
I love that song (I'm actually humming it while typing)! Every time I hear it, it puts a little bounce in my step!
Have you heard about the TLC Christmas Club is?! It's 21 days of images, sentiments, word art, papers and anything else Paulette feels like throwing in for good measure! For one flat price, you get something sweet delivered to your inbox every day! Right now, Paulette is offering a special deal on the club - for every new member that signs up for the club by Thursday, Paulette is going to extend the days of the club! Whats even better is that our normal 21 day club has already been extended to 23 days of goodies!!! To find out more on how to sign up for the TLC Christmas Club, click here.
For my creation today, I am using a Christmas Club pre-goodie from TLC - a little something I got to play with while for waiting for the club to start! It definitely got my Christmas juices flowing and that push I needed to start my cards!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you get to do something today that makes you smile :)

Let's Hang Out
Woot, woot!! It's finally Saturday!!! I've been waiting all week for today and I was starting to think it would never come!! I'm soooo excited (and this really is not an accurate description of my excitement, lol) because my hubby and I have a date night tonite!! My oldest is away for the weekend with Girl Scouts and my twins went to Grandma's :)) Having all three gone in one night very rarely happens anymore so I can barely contain myself!!!
So, not only will I get some quiet time with my main man, I was able to fit in some crafting time :))
I just got this new set from Clear Dollar Stamps called Spider Greetings and all the images and sentiments included are adorable beyond words!! Just look at this little guy!
Too stinkin' cute, right?! And I just love that sentiment with him!! If you love him, and wanna take a look at him and all the other fab images/sentiments in the Spider Greetings set, click here!! I'm thinking of giving this card to my daughter to give to one of her girlfriends instead of the usual email :)
Well I'm off to a kid-less Saturday night!!! :))) Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for stopping by today :)

Pinching Myself
Still!!!
I am so wicked excited and completely honored because I was invited to be a part of the Digital Design Team at Clear Dollar Stamps!!! Can you believe it?! Of course I said yes!! Woohoo! So now you know why I'm still pinching myself :))
If you aren't familiar with their products, I urge you take a look around their site - they have it all! Clear stamps, digi stamps, digi papers, and sentiments!! To take you to their site, click here.
When I got this image from Clear Dollar Stamps, I had to ink it up right away! You know me and my sunflowers!! It's from the Sunshine and Smiles digital set which includes some amazing sentiments to match! You can find the set by clicking here!
Fabulous image, right? Just love those sunflowers!! They're the perfect flower to send to someone when they need a little cheeriness!!
I love this new cardstock that I got from Wassau! It's already embossed and the crinkles in it look almost exactly the wood fence in the image. The flowers, leaves, and flourishes were SVG files that I cut on my Cricut Expression and distressed along with the image in Making Memories Distress Ink. The pearl centers were just plain old white self adhesive pearls that I colored with my Copics in the same shades of brown that I colored the fencing.
Clear Dollar Stamps is coming out with a new release soon (which I can't wait for), so stay tuned!!!

What?! No Copics?!
I know- hard to believe, right?! I wanted to do something a little different than my usual so I decided to put my Copics down, and give them a breather. I actually used my watercolor pencils for the first time in over 6 months!!
TLC has a new set in the store called Autumn, The Extras and it is jammed packed with gorgeous Fall images!! You can find the set by clicking here.
I took the Autumn Leaves Blocked 2 image from the set and duplicated it four times block-style in Print Artist to make it look uniform. The sentiment is also by TLC and is part of the new set called, Fabulous Fall, which you can also find by clicking here. I matted the sentiment onto a scalloped oval and then put some foam squares underneath it to pop it up and make it stand out in real life. What I love about this card is that it can be printed over and over again easily to make the perfect mail-friendly Thanksgiving card!
Thanks for stopping by today and hope that you have a great day! :)

Oh Baby!
Yippee!! It's Saturday!!! Although upon waking this morning, I completely forgot that!!! I woke up early this morning completely panic stricken that I had missed the alarm and that the kids missed the bus - please tell me someone's done that too!! Luckily I caught myself before I got out of bed (this time!!), so I was able to roll over and catch a few more zzzz's. *insert smiles* :))))
Anyway, I had to make a baby shower card yesterday, and even though we know the sex of the baby (pink power!!), I really didn't want to use a "baby" girl image and decided on something a bit cuter ;)
Isn't that Donkey the cutest thing you've ever seen?! He's from Meljen's Designs and so is the adorable sentiment which matches perfectly!! I recycled the doily from my dining room and believe it or not, the papers (not including the cs) were digi papers I found for free over at Birds Cards!!!
Enjoy your Saturday and hope you get to do something that makes you smile!!

TLC Design Team Blog Hop!!
We're celebrating the new Design Team over at TLC and what better way to celebrate than with a Blog Hop chock full of fabulous creations and inspiration!
Hopefully you've come from my talented teamie Hetty's blog. If not, you should go back to the TLC blog and start from the beginning!! Trust me, you don't want to miss any stops along the way, because each one of my teamies has a fabulous creation to show you using one of Paulette's images and will be giving away the very same image they used for FREE on their blog!!
Here is a quick list for you all just in case you get lost along the way!:
For my creation today, I was thrilled to receive and work with the Teddy and Me image! It's absolutely adorable and can be used with so many of Paulette's word art sets. Trust me, it was hard to narrow it down to just one!
So here's the fun part!!! Paulette is the most generous gal I know on the planet and said I could give you this image today as part of our fabulous hop! Just click on the image below and right click to save yours!!
Congratulations to our new team and thank you Paulette for all your generosity and creativity! Your next stop along the hop is our new DT member, Jennifer's blog who has something amazing to share with you!
Have fun hopping and don't forget to create with some TLC!

Isn't she just precious - and that teddy bear she's snuggling?! Love her!! The sentiment is from TLC as well - it was a freebie offered on the TLC blog awhile back (Paulette is always giving away free, amazing sentiments so stop by the blog often if you don't already!!). I used my new paper pad from Authentique called the Journey Collection which was a gift from dear friend (thank you again sweetie *hugs*), and paper pieced her umbrella with it. The rosette that I made was inspired by the umbrella and I used mini pearls to accent the scalloped oval frame around her.
