Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge at Guylou's!

Hey, hey, hey!!  It's challenge time at Guylou's Inimitability!!

I am so excited today to be hosting this fortnight's challenge, and since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought it would be pretty awesome to see those projects that are mostly pink and have a visible pink ribbon on it.  

Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women and the second leading cause of death. Your best weapon against breast cancer is EARLY DETECTION through two common methods of breast screening: breast examination (self and clinical) and screening mammography. Your health is important; you are important. Take good care of yourself.

 

Guylou designed a new image in honor of the Breast Cancer Awareness program and for reaching over 250 followers on the Guylou's Inimitability blog!!  How awesome is that?!  Her name is Gabrielle and Ribbon and she is gorgeous!!

For my challenge card today, I used the image Leah and the Breast Cancer Ribbon.  

I've had two cousins that underwent Breast Cancer treatment and thankfully, have survived it.  I've also had a friend's mother -in-law suffer through this horrible disease.  In honor of them, I am linking up my creation to the First Annual Link Up For Pink linking party and donating this card to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition for newly diagnosed Breast Cancer patients.
