Tag You're It

I usually don't make a lot of tags, and honestly, I don't know why.  After making this one to go around a bag of goodies for my girl's bus driver for Christmas, I fell in love with tags.  It was quick and fun; and such an incredible way to use up those scraps I have in my draw  :)

For my tag, I used this new, adorable set from Clear Dollar Stamps called Snowman Wishes.

Isn't he adorable?  And, he's got a few more buddies in the set as well some wintry sentiments to match.  Love him!

Next time I post, it will be 2012!!  I can't believe how fast this year went!  I truly hope that 2012 proves to be your best year yet - many blessings of health and happiness to each and every one of you!  Have fun and be safe!

Sweet Treats for Christmas

Wow, 3 days left until Christmas!  I feel like I've become one of those new Hallmark Christmas Countdown ornaments, lol.

In a race to get some goodies to my daughter's teachers, I got a recipe off a blog to make filled candy cane hearts which looked simple enough so I thought I'd give it a try!!

Here they are cooling on the waxed paper-lined tray.  This was so much fun for the girls to help Mommy with - especially the sprinkles part!

After they cooled in the fridge for about 10 minutes, I put a few in a Christmas chinese take-out container which I snagged for 69 cents at The Christmas Tree store!!!

YUMMY!!!

Then to finish it all off, I created a cute little tag with one of the tag images included in the Totally Tags digital set from Clear Dollar Stamps!!!

And this is what each daughter went to school with this morning!  What teacher wouldn't love that?!

Hope you are all staying calm and collected amidst the holiday hustle and bustle.  This very well be my last post until after Christmas, so to each and every friend of mine that celebrates - a very Merry Christmas to you and your families and many blessings in 2012!

New Releases at Clear Dollar Stamps!!

Hey, hey, hey!!!

Guess what today is?!  Besides 10 days til Christmas ;)  It's new release day over at Clear Dollar Stamps!!

I was lucky enough to play with two of the new fabulous sets:  Windowbox Wishes and Antique Ornaments, and I just love them both to pieces.

So for my first creation, I used one of the ornaments (there are three in the set) from the new Antique Ornaments digital set.

Sooo gorgeous and vintage - just love it!!  I had so much fun dressing it up in all those pearls!!

And then there is my creation using an image and sentiment from the new, whimsical and sweet, Windowbox Wishes digital set.

So cute!!!  I paper pieced the curtains in the image to match one of the background papers and love how that looks - what do you think?  :)  The set has some other windowboxes and sentiments that are just adorable !  To check out the set, click here.

Have an awesome day and thanks for stopping by :)

A little over 2 weeks?!

Uh oh Spaghetti-O!!!

I seriously cannot believe how fast December is whizzing by - with a little over 2 weeks until the big day, I'm floundering to finish cards, shopping, wrapping and baking!!  Yikes!  The whole entire house being sick for the past month non-stop has NOT helped, lol....but there was a little time to get one more card in thank goodness!

Which brings me to my creation for today! Using the Christmas Cuties digital set from Clear Dollar Stamps made this card easy to whip up and fun, too!

Isn't he just adorable?!  This little guy comes in a pre-colored digital set  that includes the digi paper I used today for the background, as well as an black & white outlined set that I used for the actual image which I colored with my trusty Copics.  The sentiment, along with a few others, can be found in both the pre-colored and b/w sets mentioned!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

For my creation today, I wanted to do something different and something I haven't done in a very long time since my addiction with digi's has grown:  stamping!  I used some old Christmas clear stamps from Inkadinkado for this one and it felt so good bringing them out (well after dusting them off a bit, hehe).

Our Sponsor for this month's challenge is the ever-fabulous Tiddly Inks!!

Isn't she just precious?!  And lovin' that snow, too!!  I used up quite a bit of scrap Christmas papers from two seasons ago (trying to make room for those new pads, hehe) and some red flat back pearls I've had in my stash for quite awhile as well.  She has a hint of Stardust Stickles on her hat and her snow boots for a little sparkle.

So all you have to do to enter this fortnight's challenge is have some snow on your project - easy peasy right?!

There are two fabulous Sponsors for their SNOW challenge - Paper Pretties

Sweet & Spicy

Hello friends!!  Happy Sunday to each and every one of you!!  Hoping that you are enjoying your family and friends or better yet, some crafty time!!

I made this card a little while back and am finally getting to post it.  I made it using one of the sets from Clear Dollar Stamps called Sweet & Spicy which I absolutely LOVE.  Probably because I love apples and I just can't live without my cinnamon!!  In fact, I always put a tsp. or two in my coffee for that little extra sweetness (makes me feel like I'm drinking a special latte).

Both the image and the fab matching sentiment are from the set but the set also contains a couple more images and sentiments that are absolutely adorable! To check out the set, click here!

Sweet Song of Christmas!

Hello friends!   Did you have a fantastic weekend?  I know a lot of my friends and family were recovering from Thanksgiving and running to the stores to cash in on those mad Black Friday deals.

We finally had our Thanksgiving yesterday (yay!) since we had to cancel the festivities on Thursday with my little one being so sick this week.  Poor little sweetie is just now starting to perk up!  It was wonderful to have my family around the table, laughing and singing, and mainly eating themselves into a stupor.  :)

Since I didn't have all that holiday prep last week from postponing the holiday, I made this card with one of my favorite sets from Clear Dollar Stamps called Christmas Cuties!!  The images and sentiments are just too darn cute and what's even better is there are two different versions in the store - a pre-colored set for when you are down on time and a black and white set for when you feeling like coloring the day away!

Hope you all have a fabulous start to your week and thanks for stopping by :)

Quick Post

Hey everyone!!  Did all my American friends have a wonderful Thanksgiving?  Hoping you were blessed in many ways yesterday!!

My apologies in advance for this having to be a short post today - one of our twins has been horribly sick for the past 24 hours with fevers spiking up to 104.

Oh and mark your calendars!! This Sunday, the awesome DT from TLC will be having a Winter Wonderland Blog Hop with lots of inspiration and freebies along the way!!
