Thankful with a Turkey Twist Challenge at Guylou's!

“He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.” — Epictetus

With the Thanksgiving holiday quickly approaching, we all start to think of all those things great and small that we are thankful for.  I know for myself, I have much to be grateful for - a wonderful family that I adore, friends that support me and make me laugh, a warm house and a soft pillow to lay my head on at night, food on the table, clothes on my back....

For our new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability, we thought it would be great to see those Thank You or Thanksgiving themed projects.  The twist for our challenge is to include a turkey somewhere on your project!

I used the Leah cooks a turkey image from the GI store and paired it with this fitting sentiment from TLC.  I just love the image because it reminds me of Thanksgiving morning - prepping the Turkey at the crack of dawn with the sounds of the Thanksgiving Day Parade on tv in the background.  A lot of prepping but the look on everyone's face as the turkey hits the table is priceless!

One lucky winner of our challenge will be awarded a $10 gift certificate to the GI store and be invited to join us in an upcoming challenge as a Guest Designer!  Wow, now that's some prize!

You have until November 17th to play along - and remember, you can play along with any image on your creation, but if you use a Guylou's Inimitability digistamp, your entry will count twice!!!! But money is tight you say?  Well have no fear, you can visit Guylou's online store and grab a freebie to play along with!

Can't wait to see all your Thankful with a Turkey Twist creations!
