Sweet Treats for Christmas

Wow, 3 days left until Christmas!  I feel like I've become one of those new Hallmark Christmas Countdown ornaments, lol.

In a race to get some goodies to my daughter's teachers, I got a recipe off a blog to make filled candy cane hearts which looked simple enough so I thought I'd give it a try!!

Here they are cooling on the waxed paper-lined tray.  This was so much fun for the girls to help Mommy with - especially the sprinkles part!

After they cooled in the fridge for about 10 minutes, I put a few in a Christmas chinese take-out container which I snagged for 69 cents at The Christmas Tree store!!!

YUMMY!!!

Then to finish it all off, I created a cute little tag with one of the tag images included in the Totally Tags digital set from Clear Dollar Stamps!!!

And this is what each daughter went to school with this morning!  What teacher wouldn't love that?!

Hope you are all staying calm and collected amidst the holiday hustle and bustle.  This very well be my last post until after Christmas, so to each and every friend of mine that celebrates - a very Merry Christmas to you and your families and many blessings in 2012!
