Under the Wire

Good morning my crafty friends!  I had a fantastic weekend and hoping you all did too!  My friend Gina drove up Saturday for a girl's day out together.  We got some shopping in; then colored and stamped the rest of the afternoon.  It's always a good time when Gina visits and already can't wait until our next one!!   :)

One of the images I colored during her visit was from the Miss Anya Dressy collection from The Greeting Farm.  I just think she is too adorable for words!  I used the sketch from the TGF's Double Take Tuesday challenge as inspiration:

I colored her in Copics and tried out a new auburn color combo that I just love to bits.  The paper is from the Authentique collection called Delightful.  I added some yellow Stickles to the sunflower in her hair, punched out two butterflies and layered them to give a little pop, used some American Crafts twine, a button from my stash and beautiful crocheted flower I had won in a RAK a long time ago.  I also incorporated the Farm Fresh Friday challenge theme of International Thank You Day and stamped a MFT Pure Innocence sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa from the All Occasion Sentiments set in the bottom right corner.

Thanks for stopping by today and taking a peek!! Have a wonderful day :)

  5. I love visiting with you and your family, too, girlie. We always manage to have fun!!! Next time, I hope to make it a much longer visit than one stinkin' day, though. Anyway, your card is adorable. I love this color combination. It makes me think of spring and flowers. You did a great job with this image, too. She's so cute! Thanks again for my gift; I love, love, love it.
