D2D Progressive Challenge

Happy Thursday Friends!!!  We have been getting the most gorgeous weather here in Jersey for the past two days -not too hot, not humid..there's a slight breeze and the sun is glorious!  My only hope is that it will stay like this through the weekend!!!  Hopefully wherever you are reading this, you are enjoying some sunshine, too!

Here is my card that I made for the Designed2Delight Progressive Challenge using the Stamp of the Month

Isn't she just the most precious little thing you ever saw?  And what better than to pair it with another fabulous sentiment from TLC!

I brought out my white Souffle pen by Sakura from the depths of my draw to doodle on the star.  I remember when I first started making cards, I just had to have me some Souffle pens that I bought 'em in all different colors!!  I really thought I'd use them all the time. I don't ever use them!!  LOL, funny how that happens, isn't it!?  I also pierced around the image and added some Stickles to the flower on her head and some on the cupcake for some sparkle.

Since the weather has been cooperating, so have the kiddies ;)  which means Mommy's been a little busy in her craft room!!  Woot, woot!  I'll be sharing another card today, so don't forget to stop on by later!

  10. I love this color combination, your doodling, and of course, the button. I love me some buttons. I had to laugh about the souffle pen, though. I have the whole set, too, and rarely use it, either. Bad me. It's that shopaholic thing again. LOL

  11. Oh my lord...I just lost the whole post that I just did lol. So I'm going to try again, but I know that it's not going to be as good. So let's see....I see that there are alot of crafters out there that are just like you...those of us that thing that we seriously cannot do without something, only to find out that we were wrong. I think that you are the master at being able to take different patterned papers and putting them together and having them flow so wonderfully. And it's a good thing thing that you had that souffle pen to help bring out that wonderful little star...it and the button look great. I have such a hard time doing buttons on my cards....they never seem to look right...do I take them off and do something else lol. And that paper piecing you did...wow...incredible...I couldn't even see where you'd pieced the pieces (and I really looked lol). This card is just way too cute.

  12. I love the colors and design of the card. It just made me smile! I'm a "matchy matchy" person when it comes to papers and embellishments...have to be same color. But I LOVE LOVE the orange frosting on the cupcake....and it goes. I just might step out of my comfort zone and copy you colors...if that is okay with you!! I so wanted to play in this challenge last week but ran out of town.

Also wanted to let you know The ABC challenge will be back!!! Check out the blog for the update www.abc-challenge.blogspot.com
